The Drama Studio
The University of Sheffield Drama Studio is a large church, which has been converted into an intimate theatre venue. Most of The Company's public productions are performed here. The main entrance is through the front doors on Glossop Road.
The Drama Studio has a number of features to make it accessible. Level access is provided for wheelchair users via an entrance on Shearwood Road. There is an accessible toilet (Radar NKS) in the Front of House area. There is an infra-red system fitted in the auditorium for people with impaired hearing. Receivers for the infra-red system are available from the Duty Manager. Read the AccessAble guide to the Drama Studio
Some rehearsals and auditions are in the Drama Studio rehearsal rooms, they are up Shearwood Road, past the stage door on the right.
Dore Village Green
The Company's performances on the village green at Dore are an al fresco affair, bring a picnic and prepare for weather (if it is actually properly raining we move indoors, keep an eye out for updates on Twitter or Facebook).
No tickets are sold for this performance, but a collection is taken.
Dronfield Civic Hall
The Company will be trying out a new venue in 2020 if the pandemic restrictions are raised in time.
The Company's will be using some rooms in the Octagon centre while the Drama Studio rehearsal rooms are having their roof replaced.
Access to the Octagon centre via a walkway from Durham Road, down steps from Brook Hill or past the Students Union from the University Concourse.
